true, it appears Uzbeks were too eager for somebody in this administration (unlikely Cheney), but there are lots of other countries where small change placed in right pockets will work miracles as suggested by the WaPo. The East European angle remains as muddy as ever, Poland decided not to report the results of their parliamentary inquiry despite early promises which is not surprising given Pinochet like quality of their freshly installed government, other candidates aren't talking much either. They seem to be pointing us to Northern Africa and environs now. Egypt where that iman snatched from Italy was presumably shipped to and never seen or heard from again is as good as any. Syria is another. Libia? Red Cross people who been trying to obtain access to those people to ascertain what's going w/o any success so far will need more support from the Congress if anything is to come out of it.
