President Bush Gets an iPod

Jenna and Barbara Bush got President Bush an iPod for his birthday. Here's what he's listening to. The White House reminds us not to "psychoanalze the playlist." Sorry, can't help it. My Sharona?

Here's more.

"Any Ashcroft numbers on Dubya's ipod?" Only 666;-) "The Eagle is Sore" "I'm jesus, wtf ru" and "For God's Sake I Can't See any Calico Cats ... or Ti+$ On a Statue" didn't make the cut.

I can picture Bush circa 1981 bopping to "My Sharona", doin' lines, drinkin' beers. Imagine how much better off we'd all be if he never got sober.

I think the fact that someone else downloads the tunes for the ipod is "consistent with his image".

Someone else downloads the music because bush is barely capable of buttoning his own shirt.

Wow. Maybe Chris Rea's "Road To Hell" will sink in.

"It seems to be the playlist of somebody who stopped listening to popular music in the 1980s." Change that to whenever hip hop hit, and I can understand. There is a reason why TV and music is not made for us seasoned citizens. We don't listen or watch. kdog - Some didn't. ;-)

The very idea that SOMEONE ELSE chooses and downloads the music contradicts any idea of Bush being a "man of the people" as quoted in the ABC news article. Bush's aides are hoping this story helps Bush relate to regular Americans. It won't. First...because alot of us out here don't have the money for an Ipod..and second, those of us who do have Ipod's don't have a paid staffer to download songs for us.

Aaron, they said he was a man of the people, not of the rabble. And if he did put his own songs in, many here would be the first to scream that he has more important things to do.

Oh big whoop, the preznit has the not-so-latest gadget. Big whoop, the prez listens to The Knack. What I wanna know is... Does he have Greenday's latest album on there? That is a rock solid recording.
