Brown Drinks Margaritas as Evacuation Continues

Having demonstrated his complete incompetence at yet another job -- this one a bit more important than heading the International Arabian Horse Assocation -- Mike Brown will go home and treat himself to a margarita.

"I'm going to go home and walk my dog and hug my wife and, maybe get a good Mexican meal and a stiff margarita and a full night's sleep. And then I'm going to go right back to FEMA and continue to do all I can to help these victims," Brown said.

Poor Brown can't get a good margarita in New Orleans. Brown denies that he's being demoted. The denial seems true; he's being hidden instead.

Brown, lambasted for the government's sluggish response to the hurricane, said he would remain as FEMA's head, directing the agency's nationwide operations out of Washington.

Since 9/11, the president has wanted us all to be afraid of terrorists. In reality, we should have been afraid of Mike Brown.

    OK, so he's going to have a margarita. Big deal. If I'd just become a national embarrassment, I'd drink myself stupid. Hm. Maybe one is all it takes....

    Oh well... Looks like Mike Brown is who the admin is going to use to boost their ratings again. Who hired him? Why does the buck stop there?

    Guys, guys. He's just picking up those two vacation days that George sacrificed! That's a lot of time off from his 5-week man of the people vacation!

    peacrevol: I wish I could get a day off and a margarita. I'll have two days off and a large jug of margarita, please... Then I'll come back and let you know what I think of Brown. ;~)

    And then I'm going to go right back to FEMA and continue to do all I can to help these victims, The most important thing he could do right now to help the victims is resign, drive his Chevy to the levee and fill sandbags.

    What is clear, and scarey, is that he is no exception to the rule in Smirk's admin. Any one that has any qualifications and talent for their job would surely criticize and thus be immediately fired.

    Did you see the press conference where chertoff refused to let brown answer any questions? brown may be 'keeping his job', but he's definitely in the $hithouse.

    That guy better stay straight. He's got several million guys from LA and AL, who are drinking less tarted-up drinks FOR THEIR PAIN, and who want to nothing better but a chance to dent his face for his ATTITUDE.

    sailor - Are you trying to tell us that if Chertoff had ley Brown speak, you would not have accused Chertoff of hiding behind Brown?
