    I don't think he will sink or swim. He will slowly ooze over the surface of the water, eventually forming a foul-smelling mono-molecular layer.

    The White House has shifted from categorical denials two years ago [...] to "no comment" today. Press secretary Scott McClellan on Friday rejected suggestions that the investigation of two key players was distracting the White House.
    Poor Scott... All the spinning must be making him dizzy by now. Imagine the inspiring stories of integrity he'll have for his grandchildren...

    Not that it means a lot but here is what Luskin is saying: "The special counsel has not advised Mr. Rove that he is a target of the investigation and affirmed that he has made no decision concerning charges," Rove's lawyer, Robert Luskin, said. "The special counsel has indicated that he does not anticipate the need for Mr. Rove's further cooperation."
