Plame Grand Jury Still Meeting

NBC Reporter David Schuster just said on Hardball that the grand jury will be meeting two more days this week and maybe into next week. Since any indictments won't be public until they are done, it doesn't look like tomorrow is the day.

If there are last minute plea deals, the details will be contained in written plea agreements. For any deals that involve reduced charges from those the grand jury might otherwise indict on, Fitzgerald will want the deals iron-clad and signed before releasing this grand jury. If a deal falls through, he'll need to have the grand jury still in session to issue a last minute indictment.

Also, the grand jury could still be hearing evidence from officials who are making last minute deals.

Your suggestion is that pleas would be entered and accepted on deals before the GJ stops instead of indictments for all on highest charge and then reduced to lesser included at the deal maker's trial after he or she does what he or she is supposed to do? With this group any deal for a lesser before one saw the deal maker hold up his or her part of the bargain would be questionable given Judy Miller's attemts to help Scooter as much as possible while still helping herself. If I am missing something here or just don't get it please advise.

Are we sure that David Shuster's source is correct. So many other sources seem to be saying tomorrow.

JM Let me ask a stupid, don't do federal trials / tech question: Will any plea deal be available on Pacer / CM/ECF? And if so when?

All Writs, it's not a stupid question. Once Indictments are returned and the case is filed, all pleadings including plea agreements should be available on Pacer. I would think the Court might also make them available on its homepage.
