    odd how it was OK during the previous Administration but is now a big problem. This will get no farther with the mainstream of America than the phony accusations by the ACLU regarding the NSA programs. What happened to the days when the ACLU was actually about civil liberties, and not holdiong itself out as America's self-appointed arbiter and chief regulator of speech? Perhaps the ACLU is too busy censoring high school kids to notice we are at war?

    Can someone--ANYONE--answer me this very simple question: If we're NOT torturers, and GWB has said many times we're not, then why must we fly these individuals to other countries??? If all we're doing are standard interrogation techniques, why aren't these interrogations done at Fort Bragg or Fort Riley instead of flying across the globe to Torturestan et al.? Why does the Admin continue to pretend we're 7 years old and unable to notice this very simple question?

    How can I possibly dispute the assertion of aona fide secret agent man? What do you do with a person who ahs broken no US law, but is a wanted criminal in his home country? Just leave him to cause trouble to friends and allies? As I pointed out before the, lack of reason in the rendition protest is only matched the feigned outrage over the NSA progams. if the ACLU and the rest of the anti-war extremists want to spend their energy chasing those geese, have at it.

    hunter, and the list of countries to which we "render" people have what in common? denying we render them so they can be tortured abroad is head-in-the-sand illogic.

    What do you do with a person who ahs broken no US law, but is a wanted criminal in his home country? Just leave him to cause trouble to friends and allies? Are you asserting that they are just being transferred to their country of birth for further incarceration? Then why the secrecy?

    Why do you think it is feigned? Do you find it that improbable that people do not like the idea of being spied upon? From the tone of your post I would imagine so.

    So what do wrong-wingers have against free speach anyways? I mean, all that hatred spewing from the wrong side of the political spectrum is quite impressive. Let's make a deal. Wrong wingers stop giving people a reason to call the ACLU and we will disband it. How's that sound? Or, live with people fighting for their right to express themselves. That 1st is a b!tch, ain't it?
