Bush Hides Fold on North Korea aka Bush Blinked
Funny but the North Korea story in
CNN AP
and the Telegraph
don't mention that Bush blinked on the sanctions that he had imposed before the Nucular Test.
Reuters hints in "including the U.S. financial restrictions" on screen 1 and on screen two (below the fold)

Washington announced steps to restrict North Korean access to international financial networks days after the six-party group reached broad agreement on September 19, 2005, toward negotiating an end to North Korea's nuclear weapons and drawing the country out of international isolation.
But North Korea had appeared unwilling to resume talks unless the United States gives ground first on financial sanctions imposed by Washington late last year.and ABC like totally fracked up with

Washington also imposed financial sanctions against 11 North Korean organizations designated as proliferators of technology used for weapons of mass destruction.
To lure the North back, Washington agreed to discuss the financial sanctions the U.S. imposed on North Korea a year ago for its alleged complicity in counterfeiting and money laundering to sell weapons of mass destruction. Those sanctions attempted to sever Pyongyang from the international financial system.
I mean when you reward bad behavior, be sure to do it on page 2.
Actually to give credit, Forbes has a pretty good backgrounder
Bottom Line: Bush is a blustering bully and after recently picking another fight backed down to North Korea back to status quo ante nuke.
