How is that a Good Answer? (none / 0) (#1)

"Based on my utter lack of business expertise, I'll make lots of economic recommendations"

That's really a good thing, yeah.  In the Twilight Zone.  Let me know when Democrats give up on class warfare as a strategy.

How well has Bush's business expertise (none / 0) (#2)

worked out. We will give up on class warfare when the GOP does. I see no reason to wave the white flag of surrender.

he was a failed businessman, except for when he bilked the taxpayers of Texas while owning the Rangers, he made a profit that time, though I'd call it welfare-enabled.

Hillary shouldn't throw too many stones after serving on the board at Wal-Mart.  I heard there is a tape out there of her sitting silently while some suit discusses Wal-Mart's union-busting strategy.

This may very well be true, but what does this (none / 0) (#4)

have to do with the question, you've never run a business...

Which by the way is an ignorant question. Ask any lawyer in private practice. It is a business. We have overhead. We have secretaries, paralegals and receptionists with salaries to pay. We have office leases to pay rent on; we have electricity bills; computer hardware and software; and law books. How do you pay for this? You need clients a/k/a customers. Its not only a profession, its a freakin business. You don't succeed, you don't pay bill, you go bankrupt.

No experience indeed. Hillary was at least a partner in a major law firm. She probably does have some experience in this respect. No slight to Obama meant, I don't know what experience he has with this.

    Hillary has experience..... (none / 0) (#5)

I never said she didn't....in fact it's her experience that worries me.  I'd love to hear her come clean on her Wal-Mart days and defend their union-busting tactics.

if she wins the nom.  A former party to union-busting, party to giving us NAFTA....

    I'll never understand that Molly.

BTW...If she does condemn the union busting, she's 16 years too late.  When she was on the board she could have done something about it.

Voting 3rd party is only going to give us 4 more (none / 0) (#8)

years of GOP misrule.  There are differences in HRC and the GOP; and there are differences between Democrats and Republicans. Ask the unions, if they want me to vote 3rd party or not.

I guess you're content with 4 more...I say no mas.

they would.  But they are buying the same con as you.

Wal-Mart wins if Clinton, McCain, Obama, or Romney win.  The unions lose.

    to agree to disagree.

You are coming close to saying there is no difference between the parties or candidates. I would disagree with that and I think the facts are on my side.

If the Green party would work to build a viable congressional party, then they would stand a chance at the presidential level. But they don't so they won't.

regardless of which party and/or candidate gets elected, Walmart will remain non-union. And that organized labor's 40+ year status quo in our society will remain unchanged. I'm not sure anyone can reasonably argue with that.

    Moving over here....

Love you too Molly, and we will have to agree to disagree.

Eventually this two-party monopoly (I like to call it "the big con") must end...better sooner than later.  Because.....

    • The D's and R's will never end the drug war.
    • The D's and R's will never cease to occupy foreign lands.
    • The D's and R's will never curtail spending and borrowing.

Just a few examples.  I'd rather the R's keep winning and rule us into oblivion than support D's, who are slightly better on some less important issues, and watch them rule us into oblivion.  Somethings got to give....
