Fed. Judge Rules Against Detainees

A Washington, DC judge has rejected a petition for writ of habeas corpus filed by seven Guantanamo detainees. According to the New York Times, the judge ruled that while the detainees had the right to request the petition for the writ, they did not have the right to obtain one.

He also ruled that the Geneva Convention protections did not apply to the Guantanamo detainees. Another judge in D.C. has a similar case pending, and may or may not rule differently.

Soon the main Rat Bush will have us all under some kind of prison or jail or camp system, and he will help Aztlan to become a fact of this empire and you will someday be that detainees with no political or human rights, and yes some are evil as hell but others have done nothing but to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So let us all get into understanding one fact your government hates us all and its not really what you think it is. Bush needs prison.

This decision, and especially the ruling on Geneva Conventions, is important. I hope that TL will post more on the particulars. We need to help the judiciary stiffen their spine and rule on laws and treaties.

If we are going to subject these folks to a legal system it should be the same one we all enjoy.

Sounds to me like the scumbag left wing activist who filed this action wasn't able to make sure that the case was heard by a scumbag left wing activist judge. Justice prevails.
