Jeanine Pirro and Page Six

Just another reason, besides those pesky FBI background checks, never to run for office: Even your underwear, including dubious allegations about your purchases, is not off limits.

Page Six reports on Jeanine Pirro's purchases of expensive underwear from Victoria's Secret, based upon information offered by the manager of one of its stores in Rye, New York.

I really doubt Jeanine Pirro frequently buys "expensive" lingerie at Victoria's Secret. The store doesn't even have real designer brands. Check out Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bergdorf's and Bare Necessities if you want to know what brands women with money (over the age of 30) buy: It's Wolford, Wacaol, Donna Karan Intimates, La Perla, Dolce and Gabbana, Hanro, Le Mystere, Cosabella and the like.

I certainly don't want Jeanine Pirro to be elected Senator, but I think Page Six got taken on this one. Jeanine is one of the best-dressed women on tv. Whether she selects her own clothes, or more likely, whether her personal assistant brings her things for her approval, Victoria's Secret is unlikely to be a place she drops $600 every few months. As for returning items without a receipt, provided the sales tag is still on it and it hasn't been worn, Neimans and Saks allow it all the time - even months later. They would rather keep a frequent well-paying customer than haggle over the cost of a bra. Victoria's Secret ought to get with the program if it wants to play in the big leagues.

After careful study of the choices I think you are right. Victoria secret is the low end and not for Pirro. Page six is most likely did not get anything wrong. Their intent is to make Pirro less attractive and desperate to get a cheap lay coutesy Victoria Secret; pure smear as only page six can do.

Victoria's Secret underwear is not so great. My favorite is Felina. Truly sexy.

So what if this is sleazy. That's what Page Six is all about. All I can say is that if stuff like this keeps Pirro out of New York politics after this election, good. It will be one less corrupt law enforcement official off the streets.

I certainly never said Jeanine was sleazy. I don't believe she is. It's her views on criminal offenders - and how they have too many rights--with which I take issue with.

So, after an extensive set of interviews with married male friends of mine I can tell you that the most likely thing a married woman over 40 buys from Victoria Secret is.... Flannel PJ's. Apparently they have the most comfortable flannel PJ's on the market, easily beating out Old Navy 5:1 in my survey. Somethings you never anticipate in college! _C

Is this really that big of a deal? Who really cares about the type of underwear she purchases.

ArunK-Voters, who may sense that she is a 'loose' woman and has poor taste to boot.

Those other places are great, but Pirro buys her 'edibles' at Victoria Secret. Trying to become Senator in a single jump is just about impossible, as it should be. Whether or not there are Mickey Mouses on her underwear, there should be.
