Jane Hamsher of Firedoglake has been in Oklahoma all week at her mother's bedside in the hospital. Her mother passed away this afternoon. If you are a reader of FDL (and what progressive blog reader isn't), it would be nice to visit FDL and leave her your condolences. Christy says she is (quite understandably) devastated.

    I've just started blogging, don't know why I've waited so long....must be thet I luv live chat rooms in Java. I lost my Dad in 1999, I still miss his intelligence.....I wish for Ms. Hamsher a fair breeze at her back and a suffused, warm light to guide her path thru this time of passing. May tha Creator guide us all.

    Very sorry for Jane's loss. Obviously the spirit of her loving Mom lives on in her.
