Closing arguments are underway in the trial of New York defense lawyer Lynne Stewart, charged with providing material support to terrorists by passing along messages from her imprisoned client, Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman. Here is what the prosecutor said. We will wait to comment until we read what Michael Tigar had to say for Ms. Stewart before commenting.

    this woman is a traitor and should go to jail for a very very long time. what is the deal with people HELPING terrorists?

    Please understand that terrorism is generated by us in the western word ripping off the worlds resources to grow "our way of life". We must learn to share and not pick off the religious leaders of the third world with entrapment schemes such as Lynn Stewart was attempting to expose.
