I wish we had a format similar to the ODP Oklahoma Democratic Party. They pickup articles from various Democratic Leaders and you can reply to article on your oppenion. You could even charge a small fee to pertisapate. Deloris Moore, 716 SW 10th, Moore,Oklahoma 73160

And as a special sidenote to Deloris's post, let it here be faithfully declared that the Oklahoma Democratic Party needs all the help they can get! (Don't take it personally Deloris, I live in Texas).

Joe, we used to say that about RI to keep the New Yorkers out. Alas, it didn't work. Josh Marshall said it was good tactics for the Dems to appear reasonable. James Taranto replied it might be a better strategy actually to BE reasonable. But it's too late for that now. Ask Tom Daschle. HAR!

Tell me- IF...and I am only asking IF- the Republicans succeed in eliminating the filibuster on judicial nominees, Are all of you and the Democratic Party going to make bringing it back a campaign issue? If not, isn't this all a big charade and an exercise in political hypocrisy?

No Gerry, It will be Republicans clamoring to bring it back as soon as they are no longer a majority.

Chueptin- So the Left IS being a bit hypocritical. "This is so important that if it goes away we aren't going to do anything to bring it back". Real winner there. Can't wait for the campaign.
