Texas Considers Written Consent for Traffic Searches

Grits for Breakfast reports that a bill is advancing through the Texas House that would require law enforcement to obtain a written consent to search during traffic stops.

This should be the law in every state.

    What are they going to use now to lock up blacks in Texas? No search, no plant, no rubber hose in the back of the head....yikes, call Bill O'Reilly, he's going to blow a fuse on this one...as we're all sure PPJ will.... :-)

    After the homeless smell bill, and the anti-cheerleader bill...this is refreshing. Maybe the Texas legislature isn't totally useless after all.
