No one can wallow in their own prose like old AC. I read for the first time today that Ann Coulter personally delivered the Lewinsky tapes from Linda Tripp to Ken Starr So she HAS had the big O. And from Clinton no less.

I read for the first time today that Ann Coulter personally delivered the Lewinsky tapes from Linda Tripp to Ken Starr (how's that for chain of evidence?). Coulter has admitted hearing the tapes long before Starr did. When (after the current sideshow dies down presumably) are we going to expose the she-pundit (heretofore known as the sleaze-pundit) and how she is directly involved in the destruction of democracy?

So the queen of outrageous, obscene slime is disappointed that Roberts hasn't publically disembowled someone. That's supposed to impress me as to the rationality of giving the guy a pass?

And just when I think her rants are sounding tired and and unimaginative she drops a gem like this...
Conservatism is sweeping the nation, we have a fully functioning alternative media
Alternative media! Wha-Hah! On every channel you flip to, even! Hot dog, that's a good 'un. Yep, she still got it.

Coulter will say anything to provoke a response and she'll lie shamelessly. In the post linked to she apparently claimed that the majority of the country disagrees with liberals on abortion. And she knows darn well that polls have consistently shown that 2/3 of the country wants Roe upheld. She's not even worth taking seriously.

Coulter specializes in nasty rhetoric and that's fine by me but I don't take her seriously. I put her in the same column as the 'Boondocks' and 'Doonesbury' flamers. But on the other hand she could use a few pounds on her frame. Maybe we could all get together and convince her to eat more because although she is attractive she could use some meat on her bones. Maybe a charity site kind of thing, you know www.throwherasandwhich.com. Perhaps a mega-concert made up of corpulant bands like Charlie Daniel's Band or any has been rock band. C'mon you Lefties you like a cause...Let's feed Ann Coulter she could use it... We are the world...we are the pundits...let's feed our political waifs to chub them up and make them human.....

Er, I don't see how Coulter = Doonesbury. Gary Trudeau is a lot more upfront about what's parody, i.e. what isn't actually based in reality. Coulter doesn't admit when she's making stuff up even when professional torturers armed with x-acto knives order her to. Believe me, I know.

I'm not quite sure how to take this .. is Coulter actually going against her own on this, or is this a case of "praising with faint damnation?"

Since when do any of us care what she thinks? My suggestion - don't waste bandwidth on her.

Well it's officially a cold day in Hell. Concious Angel is dead on target. Why would anyone who purports to be a liberal or a "progressive" care what Ann Coulter has to say? As for the conservatives here, and those liberals who are paying attention, you might want to stop and realize that Ann Coulter is more of a comedian than she is a journalist. She writes things to entertain and to sell ad space or whatever else it is she does to make money. Her credentials are no worse, nor better, than Michael Moore's, whose every utterance and verifiable lie is taken as scripture by many of the less discriminating folks on this site, at least when he's talking about Bush. Ann Coulter should only be read by those looking for a chuckle. Sometimes, she even delivers.

Apparently, Roberts decided early on that he wanted to be on the Supreme Court and that the way to do that was not to express a personal opinion on anything to anybody ever.
I can't believe I'm quoting this woman, but this has certainly crossed my mind as well.
