Wow Somebody get this lady some birth control. Also, check this out. Remember we were talking about how we should help the poor with heating costs. Are the states really stepping it up?

The folks with the 16 kids seem to be taking care of them. Someone might could ask the wife if she's sure she's sane, but basically it sounds like a real "the more the merrier" type situation.

Thanks PW: I notice gwb's handwriting to be virtually indecipherable, while Harriet has raised sycophancy to an art form.

et al... I'm not surprised TL has made no mention of the letter that was intercepted in Iraq. You know, the one that mentions how we quit in Viet Nam... and to hang in there because we'll quit again....etc..etc. (as many of us right leaners on here have tried to get the rest of you to realize?) So I'll mention it... Any comments? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

    BB- you mean this one?
Al Qaeda's wing in Iraq on Thursday rejected as a fabrication a letter by a top group leader that was issued by U.S. officials and suggested deep internal rifts among militants.

Could it have been this letter?
The U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq has been the "most misguided" policy since the Vietnam War, according to an open letter signed by some 500 U.S. national security specialists.

"The Vietnam War was lost by 1970." -- Ambassador (by fiat) John Bolton So, what, were we supposed to just keep killing soldiers for the hell of it? Oh, I see. Bush kills our National Guard over there, so they won't be available over here, when we need them. BB, your kind of flypaper is sticky on both sides. How come your kind DON'T SERVE in the wars you believe in?

Here is where our tax dollars are going.
A June report for Taxpayers for Common Sense by Harvard economist Jeffrey Miron found that despite billions of dollars spent on marijuana suppression — nearly $4 billion by the federal government in 2004 alone — usage is about the same as 30 years ago.
What a waste of money, not to mention the waste that goes into prosecution and imprisonment . I guess it is called redistribution of wealth. link

Squeak - Try a little critical thinking. Of course they will deny it. The letter is critical of the terrorist's strategy of killing civilians and beheading. For those of you living in Fantasy Land, those who deny that the terrorists are not tuned into American politics and opinion, and have never heard of Vietnam: http://powerlineblog.com/archives/011932.php"
You might ask an important question: What drives me to broach these matters while we are in the din of war and the challenges of killing and combat? My answer is, firstly: Things may develop faster than we imagine. The aftermath of the collapse of American power in Vietnam-and how they ran and left their agents-is noteworthy.

PPJ-the letter is fake. Even CNN says so. The headline reads: Al Qaeda in Iraq: Letter to al-Zarqawi a fake U.S. official says multiple sources verified document CNN

Roberts may soon show his true colors the SC will hear a property rights vs environmental rights case.
The new case will decide the status of wetlands that are far from a navigable stream but whose waters can flow to a river or stream....   On Friday, the justices met for the first time to go over pending appeals with Roberts leading the discussion. When he was a judge on the U.S. appeals court, Roberts wrote a dissent to highlight the case of the "hapless toad" that lived in a dry canyon near San Diego. In that case, as well as in the ones now before the court, the question was whether federal environmental regulators had the authority to block development in the area. The toad was protected by the Endangered Species Act. The wetlands are protected by the Clean Water Act.

et al.... So your "comment" on the letter is to imply that's it's false? Ok...so what if it isn't? Will you guys ever believe anything positive that happens? You can't actully think that every single positive thing that comes to light is false? Hey...I got an idea....why not just blow your brains out now and get it over with.
