Time: Rove, Libby Will Resign if Indicted

I'm not sure this is big news as opposed to stating the obvious, but Time Magazine reports Rove and Libby will resign if indicted.

Makes one almost wish, just for a day, that ours was the culture of Hari Kari (sic?), and that these men would "put their affairs in order" and take care of themselves.

Hara, the belly, kiri, to cut (I think). They will resign? Bush Must Resign. Either he is an idiot who allowed treason in his inner officies, or he is an idiot who cooperated in treason himself. In either case, unfit for office. Let the war crimes trials begin. Let the walls fall down and crush these traitors.

Uh... so what? Turd Blossom has only worked for Bush in an "official" capacity for a year and a half now. This would be the most superficial resignation of all time.

I'll believe it when I see it. Espcially that part about not advising the WH from the sidelines. Anybody want to a bridge in NY?

Following the precedent set by Mike Brown after Katrina, Rove and Libby will be hired as consultants on ethics in government (sarcasm alert). Bush said that he would fire anyone involved in Plamegate. After Rove was suspected of being involved, he changed his standard to firing anyone who was convicted ("committed a crime"). So see, there is no reason for Rove to resign if he is merely indicted. Indictment is not conviction (another sarcasm alert).
