I just got an email from Typepad apologizing for the slowness in the comment registration process for the past several weeks. They are taking major steps to improve it. If any of you have experienced difficulties in trying to comment here, I apologize. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

    ok, good, glad to hear that. well, not actually glad, more like relieved. it isn't just registration that's been a bit of a problem, but that's alright, now i don't feel like a complete idiot. at least, not about this! lol
