Tomlinson Under Investigation for Misuse of Funds

As TChris reported earlier, Kenneth Tomlinson was forced out of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

The New York Times now reports he is the subject of an investigation into the misuse of funds. Another area of the inquiry involves whether he used phantom or unqualified employees.

People involved in the inquiry said that investigators had already interviewed a significant number of officials at the agency and that, if the accusations were substantiated, they could involve criminal violations.

Normal busiess in washington the land of big money and total corruption, but "people" we have some hope "bush won't come back", and maybe the jihad guys will do him in.

Really, Fred. Lock the doors! Tomlinson is yet another player at the rightwing competition to break laws. It is the equivalent of a Gold Rush. 'What did you steal? What laws did you break?' 'Oh, that's nothing, I stole the entire country. Go get me a cup of coffee.' This is entree to the back room where the winger nards are weighed. Who someone is is how much they brazenly take from someone else. Witness the corrupt capitalist, who will break any law it thinks it can get away with.

Is there anyone in the Executive Branch appointed by Bush who is clean and untainted? The Abramoff hearings and his own indictment, among others, will show the public the extent of the acute culture of criminality that defines this WH, Congress, and their lobbyist co-dependents.

Eric, Here is some news that is both funny and sad. Bush has required the White House staff to attend classes on ethical behavior. No information on whether Bush and Cheney will attend.
