ok, if bush takes karl rove out into the rose garden, and puts a .38 into the back of his head, as a demonstration of his fealty to integrity and honor in the oval office, i'll let him slide. what do say guys, are ya with me on this? beeeeep, beeeeep-sarcasm alert, sarcasm alert-beeeep, beeeep!

Nope. I'd settle for him having Rove admit that Plame was leaked at his behest to help discredit a strident critic of his Iraq "policy".

Looks like Al Q's bombing of Jordan are backfiring. Thousands in the streets protesting Al Q. Good to see not everybody is crazy over there. CNN

Slado-Al Q has little support in Iraq, that is unless you are getting your info from Bush. Al Q has done more for Bush's agenda than they have for anyone else. Almost seems like they are allies.

TalkLeft previously reported on a piece of legislation called the Streamlined Procedures Act here and here. Despite widespread opposition to the Streamlined Procedures Act, the bill’s supporters in Congress continue to push hard to pass the legislation. The bill seeks to eliminate federal review of criminal cases for the purpose of speeding up executions. It would lead to more errors in the criminal justice system and increase the risk of wrongful convictions. Constituents in key House and Senate districts can now send letters to their legislators from the website of The Justice Project, a nonpartisan organization that seeks to address unfairness and inaccuracy in the American criminal justice system on our website (www.thejusticeproject.org/habeas?source=blog). The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled its second hearing on this bill for Wednesday, November 16th, at 9:30am. If you live in CA, DE, IL, KS, MA, NY, OH, PA, SC, VT or WI, please ask your senator, who is a committee member, to oppose this short-sighted legislation. Additionally, if you live in select House legislative districts (CA-35, IN-6, MA-5, MA-10, NC-6, NY-9, OH-1, TX-1, TX-18, VA-3, and WI-8), please send a letter to your representative, who is a member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. This committee held a second hearing on the bill this morning. If you do not live in these targeted districts, please consider asking friends and family who do to voice their opposition to this bill. The best chance that we have to defeat this bill is to stop it dead in its tracks in the committee. Please help stop this short-sighted legislation from advancing! If you have any questions, please email us at: cyberorganizer@thejusticeproject.org

Jim... you know how to use a gun? Bullets are cheap, and plentiful, you can get lots of 'em almost anywhere if you are out of 'em... You only need one, though...
I suggest you discuss your recurring fantasies with competent medical people.

Has anyone seen "Good Night, and Good Luck" yet? The movie still hasn't made it to the town I live in, but I've been looking forward to it.

Whizzy writes You really like to think about people being shot, eh? I must admit that whenever I read anything that either you or Karl Rove or George has to say, it's a little difficult not to think about people getting shot. TTFN, Whizzy.

Posted by JimakaPPJ: "There are idoits of all political types." :) Yup, yup, Jim, there sure are all kinds, huh? Fox News host Bill O'Reilly is one of those "idoits" it seems:
"Listen, citizens of San Francisco, if you vote against military recruiting, you're not going to get another nickel in federal funds. Fine. You want to be your own country? Go right ahead," O'Reilly said, according to a transcript and audio posted by liberal media watchdog group Media Matters for America, and by the San Francisco Chronicle. "And if al-Qaida comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead," O'Reilly continued, referring to the 1933 San Francisco landmark that sits atop Telegraph Hill.
I thin we can count on Fox to provide, good , solid, honest, unbiased, objective news reporting, with NO slant, right?

I am always pleased to put your remarks at the forefront of the list. et al - Now that we are through with the middle school stuff... These are the same guys and gals who will be demanding that the "government" do something about an energy shortage. Stupid is as stupid does.

Fox keeps Bill O'Reilly around to provide thoughtful, incisive commentary, and the "thinkin' mans perspective", right? Right???
Supervisor Chris Daly [KRON 4 - San Francisco] is firing back at Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly for comments he made on his radio show Wednesday that encouraged al-Qaida to "blow up" Coit Tower. Daly responded on the KRON 4 Morning News, "Coit Tower's a monument to San Francisco's firefighters. They put out the fires in San Francisco after the great quake. American heroes -- they were there on Sept. 11 and now you want al-Qaida to blow up Coit Tower? Give us a break. You are out of line." John Hanley, president of the San Francisco Firefighter's Union Local 798, was incensed. "Coit Tower is a monument to the bravery of the men and women of the San Francisco Fire Department," Hanley said. "When Bill O'Reilly makes an attack on Coit Tower, he's attacking us and our bravery." He added, "Mr. O'Reilly, maybe we should bring you into some of our burning buildings and see how brave you are."

Great American, that Bill O' Reilly. An American calling for acts of terrorism against other Americans. Truly a great example for the rest of the RWNJ's.
