Republican National Committee Attacks Daily Kos

The Republican National Committee has turned its website into a tabloid in the vein of the National Enquirer. Check out this hate-filled "article" on Markos of Daily Kos. What did he do to deserve the party's wrath? He took a vacation.

As Steve of Carpetbagger Report writes at Crooks and Liars:

Maybe I'm missing something here. Are we supposed to be disgusted with Kos for "relaxing"? Are vacations now bad? Or is the point that Kos is somehow suspect because he went to El Salvador?

They always make it so obvious what worries them, by what and who they attack. I guess it's a problem when 70% of the country has turned into extreme rabid leftists, huh?

Good heavens, how shocking, the GOP employing a ringer. And for Marcos. "There is only one thing worse than being talked about, that is not being talked about"

The last time I looked, Markos was not the president of the USofA.

Wow, te right talks about how rude left blogtopia is (y, iksctp), but this screed is in the main RNC organ.
..and he had the world's greatest communicaion system by his side...
uhh, then why wasn't he in touch with the WH and pentagon during 9/11?

RNC are full of it! Maybe RNC should be asked this question: Did Markos go on vacation 42% of the time in the eight months when Bush was in office for his first term? Bush did that prior to September 11, 2001 according to the Washington Post.. Somebody send RNC "Fahrenheit 9/11."

RNC = DNC Both are full of crap and outdated, it's time to rid ourselves of all parties. Vote for the freaking person for a change, not the party.

Don't tell the DNC. SP - SO Bush was on vacation 139 days? Horsey Hockey, sir. Or perhaps it should: Somebody can't do math. Sailor - He was. Why don't you give up on the obvious BS?? Edger - I don't care if they turned into little green men, that's a double standard.

Sailor: then why wasn't he in touch with the WH and pentagon during 9/11? Because he's never been in touch with much of anything, including himself. Besides, something got his goat. He was busy looking at the pictures. Of his goat.

This tactic of dismembering an opposite view point is a very old rhetorical strategy, that has been used by tha conservatives since before tha Roman Empire. Conservaties from both sides of tha Congressional aisle have a lot to lose in these next two elections, if voters insist on discussing factual strategies for tha future....instead of "cake for tha masses."- as said by Marie Antoinette "No pleasure is a bad thing in itself, but the things which produce certain pleasures entail disturbances many times greater than the pleasures themselves." - Epicurus

A double standard. Lets see, one guys President of the United States and the other guy presides over an internet blog. Of course they should be held to the same standard. That's putting alot of pressure on Bush though, dont you think Jim?

Markos works harder than any ten of those cutters and pasters. I guess we're past the "First they ignore you" stage. Let's Moveon. Nothing to see there.

Jim, The claim is that Bush's vacations are excessive in number and duration. Can you say the same about Markos?

I'll just assume you are talking about bush being in control on 9/11. Post links or be revealed as lying yet again.

Jim, Please define the double standard. What are you talking about? What are you thinking?

Clearly Daily Kos is another example of what Republicans call a macaca. You can tell that by the way the GOP hack put Zuniga's name in large letters.
