Senate Republicans have chosen their leaders. The top gun will be Mitch McConnell, followed by Trent Lott.

Democrat Harry Reid was chosen by Dems yesterday to be Senate Majority Leader.

    ...that you burn wood for heat.  Ever wonder how much domestic energy we could generate using all the sh*t we're full of?  And folks like Lott, they're regular power plants waiting to happen.

    They must have liked a lot :-)

    Seriously, what's so magical about this guy's administrative abilities that made his colleagues willing to absorb the inevitable, and understandable (though slightly hyperbolic, in my view, given that nobody really believes that Trent Lott favors discrimination against African Americans.) criticism this move would elicit?
