    Because the US engages in global wars of agression. It goes with the territory.
    I'd rather be right than have the rest of the world like us.

    And yet you come here. Why? Really, why?

    What the world thinks of us is how we relate and survive on this planet. Regardless we cannot isolate and go it alone. Besides, 'liberals' are not the only wise ones who realize this.

    We are indeed a generous people although we have not always defended countries who are in desperate need. And you would know it if you've traveled as extensively as I have because it has been stated - repeatedly - to me.

    I think it's important as well to have your own thoughts and not some talking points you've lifted from other boneheads.

    And watch how you throw around that word 'liberal.' More than likely you've been educated within the confines of a liberal education. Then again?

    ...and change the UN until it suited America's new hostility regime and, fortunately, the world didn't sign on to his program.

    Just like we have had over 3 1/2 years to get Iraq right and they are STILL meeting endlessly, doing nothing, and watching with glee the country's slide into chaos with the hope of stealing their oil before they notice it is gone.

    They're floating the names of Rick Santorum & Sam Brownback to replace Bolton.

    Bolton isn't going to ooze away & retire.  This is why hearings, investigations, impeachment, prosecutions are vital.  We need to hold responsible all those from BushCo who turned this country upside down morally, legally, politically, etc.  If we do not push for accountability and let them slither off stage for now, they will get recycled back into government positions in 2 years, 4 years, 6 years, eager to settle old scores, & take their turn at our Treasury.  

    Cheney and all those from the Iran-Contra days are now holding positions of enormous power, after learning at the knee of Dick Nixon & Bush 41.  Just think about the crop of crooks that are sitting around Bush right now.  They'll be back unless we stop them.
