The Most Trusted To Offend

Via atrios, Glenn Beck:

"I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today." . . . Beck's comment came as forest fires ravaged parts of Southern California, leaving one person dead, four firefighters wounded, and forcing about 1,500 people from their homes.

Funny guy. Nice host you have there CNN. Delivers "big" ratings too.

...but I'm too busy hacking up ashes.  Yes, surely everyone in Malibu, made rich from America, hates it too.  What a sack of horse manure Beck is.  Luckily I'm in a wedge of San Diego not in flame's way...at least not yet.  Several friends have evacuated.  My wife's boss was waiting at home for word to get out from authorities, while on local TV his newscaster wife was telling people to get out of the area.  I have some ribs just sitting outside smoking themselves.

(although Bu residents may well have been who Beck was speaking of.)
IRVINE, Calif. -- More than a dozen wildfires, whipped by strong desert winds, raged Monday in a region stretching from north of Los Angeles to the Mexican border. At least one person has been killed and 250,000 people were ordered evacuated from the San Diego area.

    you ever listened to him?

It was a stupid comment. He's a commentator. Big deal. While there are tons I don't agree with on, I have never found him to be a vile personality along the lines of either Michael Savage or Randi Rhodes (who I won't forgive for being a snotty b**ch to my 2 year old on Halloween!)

Not coincidentally, it's the lowest-rated show in all of cable news. And yet CNN keeps him around, probably at a loss.

If he were black, Glenn would say his continued employment reeks of affirmative action. Nevertheless, I'm sure there's plenty of valid arguments, like balancing out CNN's wild-eyed liberal commentators such as Wolf Blitzer, Lou Dobbs, Nancy Grace, Paula Zahn...

Glenn Beck is truly the new Pat Robertson. Keep it up Beck, you don't want to hit rock bottom after having your head up this high in the sky. You can start the neo-neo-con movement, twice the lunacy!

time i'll never recover. i think the alcohol killed whatever gray matter he had, leaving him to spew idiocy on a daily basis. perhaps, he's cnn's "affirmative action, mentally challenged" hire?

really, it's the only plausible explanation.
