Soldier in Baghdad: War is Not Worth Another Soldier's Life

The Washington Post has a long feature article on a unit of soldiers preparing to leave Iraq. In a nutshell, as one of them says,

I don't think this place is worth another soldier's life."

As Booman says, "Listen to the men in the field. Get them out."

    who had studied at the knee of the U.of Chicago philosopher-kings, or a reverential reader of The Weekly Standard, or, even, an attende of the Limbaugh/Fox nursery school, instead of being one of the expendable plebs "on the ground", the Big Picture would alot more meaning to the poor benighted one, no doubt.
