    Judging from the sort of questions that the media seems to think are important to ask as part of our great democratic dialogue, you'd think the candidates were running for First Selectman in Salem Village circa 1660, or for head of the Xtian Coalition: How do you pray; Do you believe every last word of the Bible; Do you believe other religions besides Christianity actually exist, or do you think we need further information; Does Jesus like Muslim children at all, or would he use them for doorstops; Would Jesus allow candidates to set the parameters of the debate in exchange for favorable legislation and kickbacks?

    really about religion? That would seem kind of on the nose for Stipe.
