McCain Regrets Saying Soldiers Wasted In Iraq

Malkin still silent, but McCain is sorry:

Last evening, I referred to American casualties in Iraq as wasted. I should have used the word, sacrificed, as I have in the past.

the right will be all over McCain like melanoma on a sunny day - just like they were when Obama misspoke himself.

has been wasted. why is it everyone's afraid to state the obvious? these people have been misused by this administration, in pursuit of their failed foreign policy.

there is no shame to our men/women in uniform, all shame is on those that sent them.

the next person to say it won't cower and apologize.

You gotta hand it to the war-mongers....they can bury any serious discussion about Iraq being a serious waste of heroic humanity like nobody's business.

Someone should ask McCain, 'sacrificed' for what? Maybe he'll go back to saying 'wasted'.

Malkin has now commented on McCain's "wasted" moment. She says of the Maverick:

    McCain is hurtling, hurtling, hurtling.

Oh, and I feel vindicated to discover that her prior "silence" on the topic was nothing more than CPAC-related preoccupation.

all be so easily "vindicated" Gabe. Malkin quotes an ambiguous, barely in context, three words (one word actually), from someone else reacting to McCain, and that counts in your world as some kind of (presumably) meaningful commentary.

    Glad you feel vindicated.

me of the WMD "vindication" provided by the thirty+ year old gas cannisters.

But, if these guys weren't easy to please, we'd have someone else as President.
