Sad news from the White House today. Tony Snow's cancer has not only returned but spread to his liver. Cancer is not a political disease. I feel badly for him.

May he keep an optimistic attitude and keep up the fight.

    Went from a stomach ache to buried in 3 months for the same reason.

    Funding for the National Cancer Institute had been going up steadily for a decade, but now President Bush wants to cut the funding for the second year in a row -- this time by $40 million.

    had C in multiple organs multiple times and has been clean for over a decade now. Fight the good fight Tony, we're pulling for you.

    despite what "some say", but it's just too bad that this has happened.  Everyone goes sometime and if it's your time, it's your time.

    I hope Mr. Snow makes the most of however many days - 1 year or 40 - he has left.

    The same level of media sympathy never seems to make it to all the people with cancer and other serious ailments in this country who are not wealthy and powerful, who far from having access to world class medical care, do not have health insurance at all.

    Snow and his allies hate Medicare, and that's also too bad.
