Fred Hiatt is not exactly fact based but Obama's muddled answers on the question lend themselves to just such distortions. But there is an easy way for Obama to settle the question - endorse Reid-Feingold.

Show Fred Hiatt, and the rest of us where you stand on the issue Senator Obama. You might want to ask for a retraction as well Senator.

Senator Levin, on the other hand, has nothing to complain about.

that we are right and Levin is wrong. We CANNOT allow them to fund this unconditionally. On that question, I think Pelosi agrees.

If you de-fund the war, they will no longer profit. Who are they and what influence do they have over our lawmakers? Could that be why almost no one is getting serious about Reid-Feingold? Follow the money.

Since Senator Obama needs to be "clear" on this, exactly what is Senator Clinton's clearly stated position on Reid-Feingold and would she sign such a bill if she were president today or on January 21, 2007 if it were passed then?
