Dodd: "Half Measures Won't Stop This President"

Senator Dodd says we can not wait for the next President to end the Iraq Debacle. He's right. And that's why I support his Presidential bid.

as opposed to merely looking for a good sound-bite for the 6o'clock news, he'd be starting a motion for impeachment articles.

since i've not heard such a thing, i assume this is blather for the masses. too bad you bought into it.

    That's an opinion (none / 0) (#4)

No one has to ask for permission to give their opinion.

you, for instance, were not asked your opinion, yet we welcome hearing it.

Don't be silly cpinva. We can disagree and thik each other's opinions silly without acting stupid.

You must recognize how ridiculous your last comment was.

I went to CSPAN to see Comey, and instead got Dodd on the floor, speaking about his father, the late Sen. It would have been his 100th birthday, and there were a number of other speakers (Inouye, Durbin and Byrd) among them talking about working with Dodd.  Dodd, Sr. was the second-to-Justice Jackson prosecutor at Nuremburg.  Byrd, in his (remarkably very short speech) noted his friendship with Dodd, Sr., Dodd Sr's. service and then noted the great honor Sr. had done the Senate and the country by his service in the Nuremburg capacity (and elsewhere in service of human rights).
Byrd then asked whether we had dishonored Dodd Sr. and left the podium.  I was looking away and only heard it, but it seemed like Byrd was breaking down in tears - I think the emotion of watching torture become policy may have gotten to him.

during Keith Olbermann's show.  He mentioned supporting legislation to end the war, but didn't specify which bill he was supporting.
