Please Take the Reader Survey

Please take my blog reader survey!

It's that time of year again for blog readers to take the Blogads reader survey. It's not short, but it really helps us with demographics. It's about ten minutes, but you can stop whenever you've had enough.

Each blog has a unique survey link. Help us learn who TalkLeft's audience is.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for doing it.  I know it was long and a little personal, and I really appreciate it.

It seemed more a marketing survey than an informational one so I did not leave an e-mail.

You got the big mention though.

Thursday's NY Times.  The writer tasted hundreds of martinis and really does a riff on how a martini must be made w/gin, not vodka.

fwiw, i can't imagine a martini made with anything but gin.  i'll be curious to see if the auther agrees that they are best if you just pass the bottle of vermouth over the glass.  and in my mind  martini does not include things like cosmos and green apple martinis, etc.

Vodka should be drank over ice, or chilled neat...

    Martini.... indecent.

I hit the delete key by accident halfway down the first page, was sent back to the blog page, thought I should start over from TL , returned and it thanked me for compeleting it.

Is there a way to re-do it?

    Re-do (none / 0) (#17)
by squeaky on Fri May 04, 2007 at 08:27:22 AM EST
OK I redid the survey. All that was needed to re-do was to erase my cookies.  Somewhat annoying questions but, for Jeralyn it was worth it.

After the first 10 minutes, I started to get annoyed. When the questionnaire asked which beers I drink, yet didn't give an option for "other," I became suspicious. I don't live in the US, so how can I possibly answer such a question?

    Weird survey, imo.

    Yeah (none / 0) (#19)

Some fairly common beers were omitted, even for those of us in the U.S.

by HK on Fri May 04, 2007 at 02:27:49 PM EST
that was a problem for Scotch (there are so many and yet they listed so few!) and Gin (no Pimms, which for a Brit in summertime is unthinkable).

I'm kind of wondering what my answers made me out to be.  I'm not really a geeky writer who likes politics, loathes fashion, spends too long in her office in front of a screen and drinks a little bit too much...am I?

Anyway, I'm off for another Pimms.

I missed Pimms so much after I moved back from London. But I got over it. I'm hating you so much right now, for reminding me.

Gabe, but I after much very necessary experimenting, I've found the perfect way to mix Pimms: one (generous) measure of Pimms and a dash of Duchy Originals Organic Strawberry & Mint Cordial topped up with plenty of ice and ginger ale (I like the American sort).  If you're making for more than one, put it in a jug with chunks of cucumber and apple and a long sprig of mint to stir.  Next time you're over here, give it a try.  Or if you happen to be in my neck of the woods, call in and I'll fix you one :0)

No questions about the blog itself. I loved the older version of TL with most posts made by Jeralyn. The two other posters don't fit my taste (trying to be very polite).

Spent ten or fifteen minutes, e.g. trying to remember
what kinds of gin and whiskey I like.  Which is hard when I only drink about once a month.  Then there was the business about which tv shows I like.  Which was hard, since the only stuff I watch is Boston Legal and some baseball.
But then I got to the end, and couldn't get to "submit."
Felt like a waste of time.

i didn't get asked about my
preferences in the liquor aisle. . .

are we seeing a pattern here -- liquor
aisle = can't find the "submit" button

    really -- i am just messin'. . .

I wasn't sure how to define TL - as law or political.

I went with political, considering Armondo is now the main contributor.

He just writes a lot and frequently.  I don't think I'm posting less.  But some days I do have to work.

Armando has broadened the discussion here, and I'm glad for that.  He also gets more comments than I do.

    I'm not going anywhere.
