The local tv station in Raleigh, NC, that originally reported Bernie Madoff's hospital visit was the result of an assault, is now reporting he fell out of bed and suffered facial bleeding as a result. His lawyer says he suffers from dizziness and high blood pressure.

    as commonly understood. More like a labyrinthine, fifty-story, high tech laundromat with hidden passage ways and trap doors.

    If Spandau prison still existed, this guy would be a good candidate. For his own protection, if for no other reason.

    The idea that this "single gunman" ran this scam all by himself is more counterintuitive than the Bin Laden-is-Al-Queda meme.

    here please. Your assumption he was assaulted is just that, an assumption, denied by both BOP and Madoff's attorney.
