Absolutely! We wouldn't to lose such irreplaceable employees.

Of course, Treasury may not be the best agency to handle this, as we hear that it is so understaffed.

your misstatement of my comment so that you could continue your raging.  And an lol doesn't hide it.

Take it elsewhere and try to comment on what is here, not what is in your head -- and then continuing to try to tell me what is in mine.

I asked you straight out why you took no offense at Cream City's suggestion to not only take it elsewhere but advice on how to comment here.

Your lack of response implies that you are friend to Cream City and cutting her slack, but have little tolerance for gtinla.

It seems like a TL typical spat to me, slightly escalated, and both acting the same way. The classroom monitor question seems unfair and particularly strange if you feel equally neutral to both commenters.

    And then there's this (4.66 / 3) (#7)
by jbindc on Mon Mar 16, 2009 at 01:11:27 PM EST
European Banks benefited from AIG bailout

Goldman Sachs and a parade of major European banks, including Deutsche Bank , France's Societe Generale and the UK's Barclays , were major beneficiaries of more than $90 billion (64 billion pounds) of money paid out by AIG in the first three-and-a-half months after its bailout by the U.S. government last September.

The disclosure by AIG on Sunday is likely to trigger further criticism of why Goldman, with its many government links, and the European banks were funnelled such huge sums of U.S. taxpayer money after making bad bets on various securities, as well as strengthening the case of those who believe the whole bailout was botched.
