Since its inception, the Metro Denver chapter's volunteers and sponsors have rehabilitated 1,000 homes throughout the city for low-income and disabled seniors — at no cost to these clients. Each year, volunteers complete more than $1 million in repairs and modifications.

The organization is backed by Denver Bronco alumni -- also on hand and participating tonight were Tyrone Braxton, Dave Preston and Willie Oshodin.

Learn how to patch drywall, enjoy appetizers and the good company of other volunteers as we honor some outstanding supporters from 2008 and we expect a special guest this year, Jesse Csinscak, the winner of The Bachelorette in 2008! There is no charge to attend, but there will be a cash bar. Space is limited so be sure to RSVP now.

The event, at the Loews Georgio hotel, was filled and they offered Jesse up for photos in exchange for a donation. (Our photo wasn't one of those.) He doesn't get paid for any of this, it's just his way of giving back. I knew there was a reason I like him so much.

We dished about the Bachelor/Bachelorette, past and present, snowboarding, and life in general. His friend Chris, a snowboard coach in Maine, was also on-hand.

Jesse's single again (post-Deanna and post-Holly) -- I really hope they make him the next Bachelor.
