AZ Iced Tea is Made in New York

Poor Arizona Iced Tea. They are trending on Twitter, with questions about a boycott. But, the company is located in New York.

IS THE COMPANY HEADQUARTERED IN ARIZONA?
No, it is located in Lake Success, New York. (Long Island)

WHY DID YOU NAME THE PRODUCT ARIZONA?
John Ferolito and Don Vultaggio, the two owners of the Company looked at a map to see where it was hot. At first they thought of naming it Santa Fe, then they focused on AriZona and the rest as they say, is history.

Last year, they were in Arizona on May 5 for Cinco de Mayo related events. It's a privately held company and Chairman Vultaggio still goes to work every day. I wonder if they'll soon be sorry they didn't name the product Santa Ee.

Amerika or some other cold war drama and replace the Hammer and sickel with Maricopa County Sheriff's office badges(they could even have an quisling call the leader "Uncle Joe"). You know like Speilberg replaced the guns in ET with Walkie Talkies. (sorry the "show me your papers" thing is just to on the nose- I mean c'mon building a wall, setting up prison camps, monitoring minorities, why not just re-legalized "enhanced interrogation" and base it in the AZ to complete the parallel for people

could make the tragedy part of their marketing campaign...something like "you may need your papers in Arizona, but Arizona Iced Tea don't need no stinkin' papers".

The 99 cent big can is a popular choice after a hard day day laboring...best soft drink deal going.

... I'll lie awake all night wondering why the GrapeAde flavor is not kosher.

BTW, the original tweet on Arizona Iced Tea was a joke.
