    I don't think the ad is very good politics. Unlike the ad above the fold, it's a full-blown personal attack. That would be fine if it were connected to an issue in actual contention like the first one, but it isn't.

    It's the kind of ad you'd come up with if you asked a 13-year-old to write the script.

    You had me worried a bit there... Second link is what you have problems with. I agree.

    But I am not so sure it is bad politics, considering the eagerness of Webster to send kids to their deaths. It makes him out to be a hypocrite, which he is.

    I really dislike the pro war stance of the ad as well.

    a political campaign has LOTS of facets - support the barney - sesame street happy happy stuff, and let others support the hard hitting stuff which defines this right wing nut job the way he should be defined -

    as a right wing nut job.

    IF Dim-0-N0bles had FOUGHT fire with fire against that lying thief Raygun, instead of appealing to their Kennedy School of Government $ocial cla$$, the right wing crap we've been living under for 30 years could have been drowned in the bathtub in '84.

    the other one he has, about Webster and the draft. Maybe he thinks that one will keep some Repubs home from the polls, but it seems like the kind of thing that backfires. well, it backfires on Dems anyway. we'll see.
