The Justice Department today announced the filing of its civil rights lawsuit against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his department for engaging in racial profiling of Latinos. The New York Times has more, and background is here.

    Sheriff Clarence W. Dupnik sent his Pima County Deputies on a pot raid. These disgusting idiots smashed down the front door of the home of former marine Jose Guerena, then fired over 70 rounds into him in seven seconds. They had the wrong house.

    No one is being held responsible for this murder.  Sheriff Dipshit is the same LEO who allowed a crazy man to run loose in Tucson, first threatening, before killing six people and permanently disabling Garbrielle Giffords.

    It is all the fault of Sarah Palin and obviously Joe Arpaio.

    As far as I know, no one is even questioning Dupnik's competence, let alone arresting him - but then he is a Democrat. On second thought, George Zimmerman is a Democrat also!

    just not enough sheriffs...our national track record for holding law enforcement accountable for all their dirty is p*ss poor.

    I'm with ya on Dupnick, the war on drugs kills again...and DOJ should look at the PD in White Plains, and the routine civil rights violations of the NYPD and their Stop & Frisk bullsh*t.

    ...I just applaud.  Sheriff Jackauf needs a good legal and moral ace-whooping.  Hope this is the start of it. Seems tho, if they could go after Sheriff PinkyPants for racial profiling, the Obama Justice Dept could go after a few financial bigwigs too.  Just sayin'.

    the Pander Bear goes back into 3 1/2 year hibernation second week of November;)

    At the rate of the last two days, we should have concrete proposals to end marijuana prohibition, real healthcare reform with Medicare for all, & indictments of the Wall St. Mafia up the wazoo before the Pander Bear goes away.
