He also had an ice chest in which police found a tan shirt, tan pants, and a Domino's pizza shirt.
He also had "apparent letters from "Nate", which is the first name of the murdered pizza driver.
Did he murder the pizza driver to steal his uniform so he could pretend to be a delivery guy when ringing Clements' bell? (Previously it was thought that Ebel may have made an appointment with Clements to see the bike Clements had placed for sale on Craig's List.) Why else would he take the pizza-warming bag? Did Clements open the door, intending to tell the Domino's guy he hadn't ordered a pizza? That seems more likely than Ebel finding the ad on Craig's List which Clements had placed the day he was killed, and which only had a phone number.
The one earring is creepy. Is it her DNA police found on the passenger door handle?
Since the pizza driver's body was found in Golden, a suburb of Denver, and Clements lived in Monument, near Colorado Springs, and Ebel had directions to Clements' home, it sounds like he planned on killing Clements.
If so, what was Ebel's motive? Did he blame Clements for his long stay in solitary? Was Clements' signature on the forms he received denying any kites he had submitted?
Other questions: Was Clements' the only house he had written out directions for? It doesn't seem like it would take three pages to write directions to one address. Were there any photos on the surveillance cameras? Was the pizza driver chosen at random? What if anything was on the voice recorder? Was there a pizza in the box? If the driver had delivered the pizza, the bag wold have been empty. Did Clements eat the pizza?
Not released: items found on Ebel's person. Did he have a cell phone?
