The media is reporting that the new Secretary of Defense will be Ashton Carter. Republicans apparently like the choice.

Carter will be Obama's 4th Secretary of Defense in six years.

    If the Republicans actually keep their word.  We doubt he will become known as a Sec Def who makes either party happy because he will operate from facts, not emotion.  My husband made a joke, "Hell hath no fury like a nerd scorned!"
