First U.S. Soldier Killed in Battle With ISIS

The U.S. raided an Islamic State prison in Iraq to free hostages. Most of those jailed were locals, some are said to be ISIS members suspected of being spies. About 20 of them were Iraqi security forces.

One U.S. Special Forces member was killed.

The raid was led by Kurdish Peshmerga fighters.

The after action critique is far more effective when you are present to witness the action first hand.

...what advisers do not do, it right there in the word, 'advise'.  Never mind the whole thing about Obama saying they won't participate in combat actions...

Funny you disagree since this is a swipe at Obama who apparently doesn't think special forces are part of the military, or at least their involvement doesn't really count.  Add in Afghanistan, and we are one step away from GWB, again, the exact opposite of what Obama stated numerous times.
