Grammys Online Viewing

The Grammy's red carpet is already streaming live. You can watch here.

The Grammy's Premiere Event starts at 3:30 ET live, hosted by Paul Shaffer and 70 awards will be given out.

The actual "Grammys" begin at 7:30 pm ET and can be viewed online in numerous places, including Grammy.com and CBS.

James Corden is hosting again. JayZ seems to be the featured nominee this year. It's a big year for rap. And for white roses, in solidarity with the T.U. movement.

Grammy viewership was down 24% this year.

I thought the show was ok, and I like Bruno Mars so I was fine with him winning so many awards. He works really hard. Here is his and Cardi B's performance at the Grammys. Here is his carpool karaoke with James Corden which gives you a sense of his personality.

The skit with Hillary and others reading from Fire and Fury was funny. So was Corden's giving away of puppies.

I didn't like the song chosen for the Tom Petty "memorial" (Wildflowers) and I wouldn't have chosen that country guy or Emilou Harris to perform it.

I had no idea the Tears for Heaven song was about Las Vegas, the female performer's oral intro was marred by her mike not working. I thought it was supposed to be the memorial for the year's musicians and thought it was really poorly done as there were no photos and names. When the real memorial segment came on, I was glad they followed tradition.

I did not care for Kesha and her choir performance.

My favorite performance of the night was Despacito. Just amazing choreography. The original You Tube video of it is the most watched video of all time with 4.7 billion views (in one year.)

Oculus and I are NYC. When I left Penn Station Friday night I saw the red carpet and VIP tents being set up, streets being blocked off, and I decided to just stay out of all this.

We've been chilling this evening, drinking wine in the rented brownstone and we just discovered that we missed Hillary reading from Wolff's book. We didn't even have the darned TV on. Damn It!!!

to let this go.  As of this writing, no tweet. So, my guess is he will take advantage of his big audience...SOTU.  But, I do hope that he is so rattled that he will veer from his scripted "presidential" recitation of embellishments and lies and launch into a lock her up tirade.

Trump delivering his speech in the manner of an 11-yr old reading the book report his parents forced him to write - about the book he didn't actually read.

He does not know how to deliver scripted remarks in a way that sounds at all natural - monotone, little eye contact, terrible body language.  And the hands...I hate the hands.  If he starts sniffing, I may have to just read it after the fact.

One thing that may fire him up: he HATES Clinton with the heat of a thousand suns.  There are others for whom he also harbors much animosity, and I suspect we will hear asides and jabs on that front, as well.

I pretty much expect the same level of lies as his latest one, of being responsible for the lowest level of black unemployment EVAH!!!

    Ugh.

if I can help it.  Since I have advance warning when he will be talking, I can avoid it.

If there is a notable moment, maybe involving the Dreamers, I can watch that snippe later.

CNN's Jeffrey Toobin "regrets" having been unfair to Hillary in the 2016 campaign.  Because false equivalency and stuff.

"Regrets?"  I regret having seen Book of Mormon and having pancakes this morning instead of waffles.
