Cable Discovers Blogs

CNN's Inside Politics with Judy Woodruff today did a feature on blogs, and what they are talking about. Crooks and Liars has the video. At the very end, they mention TalkLeft and show our post about Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman mentioning gin when he spoke to 4th graders. They mentioned our comment, "We're with Oscar on this one."

That makes two networks, CNN and MSNBC, (in particular Connected Coast to Coast,) talking about bloggers. It's kind of cool, but it's also a little disconcerting. Until now, blogging has been an in-house adventure with bloggers reading bloggers and bloggers commenting on MSM. Now it's a two-way street.

Locally, the MSM (at least the News) has been interested. They print the Rocky Mountain Blogger Roundup, and I've gotten more than one e-mail from Linda Seebach. Walter even gets quoted!

Not just yesterday, but regularly (now everyday, I think) since Feb. 14. And, as documented by Skippy, thus far following the rest of the media with an overwhelming predominance of conservative blogs over liberal ones.

Did you see O'Liely's interview of Hugh Hewitt? Ol' Bills synopsis of "black" websites and how they instill lies into the mainstream media was just hilarious. Too bad Joe NASCAR and The Redstaters believe every stinking word as if it's f***ing gospel.

So pathetic of you to look for recognition from the MSM - don't you realize they are not relevant anymore? Otherwise why would I read you?
