Connecticut Execution Still Set for Friday

The Connecticut Supreme Court has denied a request to halt Michael Ross's execution, which will be the first in New England in 45 years.

The high court upheld an earlier ruling that Ross was competent to make his own decisions, rejecting arguments that the waiver of his appeals was involuntary.

Certainly his execution will deter any other potential killers form acting in the heat of the moment. Not

Che'.... Potential killers...?? acting in the heat of the moment?? Ross, 45, admitted killing and raping eight young women in Connecticut and New York in the early 1980s. He decided last year to forgo all appeals and has been seeking to expedite his death sentence, which is scheduled to be carried out early Friday. This looks like a 'no brainer'... what's the problem? Fry the guy... society is better off without him. The only injustice here is that they can't kill him 8 times..(of course raping him first)
