N.J. Passes Execution Moratorium

by Last Night in Little Rock

From the list-servs: The New Jersey General Assembly adopted a moratorium on executions this afternoon by a vote of 55 to 21 with 2 abstensions. The NY Times noted Friday that this was the likely outcome, as did TChris here.

    Good idea, but what the system must do is place a moratorium on putting kids in prison for life. also it would be nice to put cops in prison and some FBI Guys also in prison for killing 12 year old kids, you know like waco and many other places in the last 15 years.

    Ugh, looks like NJ is going to suffer skyrocketing rates of homicide now. Silly blue-staters, don't they know that enforcing the DP is the only way to ensure lower crime?
