so I suppose the DNC is sticking to its decision to not seat them for bumping their primary up on the schedule.

Would that the Democrats would be so stern with Bushie.

the majority of these hotels are miles from downtown.

Who lucked out: Colorado, Utah, Vermont, W. Va, Wisconsin, NY, California and a few others.

Denver being a big, sprawling city, or of there being no central "hotel" district with enough "good" hotels in one place to hold all the delegates?

Denver has great hotels downtown in a central district that aren't on this list: the Westin, the Ritz-Carlton (opening in a few months) to name a couple -- nor are the boutique hotels like the Monaco -- I think it's a function of price.

    Fair enough, though (none / 0) (#5)

IIRC, there was a time when the entire convention could be held in one hotel, viz. 1948 in Philadelphia where, IIRC, the Bellevue-Stratford held the whole thing.

    Embassy Suites SE.

I should think they'd be more comfortable at the Motel 6 near the Wal Mart in Thorton.

Looks like a long list of non-union hotels, to me.  Shame on the DNC for blowing the chance to have the convention in Minneapolis.
