Obama Makes Electability Argument . . . For Edwards

Via Taylor Marsh (also Newsday), Obama said:

"I don't want to go into the next election starting off with half the country already not wanting to vote for Democrats, we've done that in 2004, 2000." - Barack Obama

Whatever you say Senator Obama. I guess Edwards is the choice:

Hillary Clinton 48 FAV, 50 UNFAV
Barack Obama 43 FAV, 51 UNFAV
John Edwards 49 FAV, 42 UNFAV

Time to end the "electability" arguments Senator Kumbaya.

I didn't say Taylor made it up.

I said its as bad as M Morgan "reporting" what a PI "confirmed."

Besides I'm not comparing Taylor to Morgan, I'm comparing unsubstantiated, prejudicial statements made by a 3rd party.

I don't care about Obama, I predicted his defeat 3 months ago, calling him a "bum."  If you have a similar quote, I'll be happy to further denounce Obama. Sheesh.

As to clever, don't even think your half as clever as Taylor - certainly your post didn't reflect her wit.

Making an argument for his electability, Obama said, "I don't want to go into the next election starting off with half the country already not wanting to vote for Democrats -- we've done that in 2004, 2000," according to a person at the event (rush transcript).

Everyone can read and see I have huge problems with Obama's political style.

I hope folks can see that I am far from passionate about him. The reverse. I am holding my nose.

But he REMAINS the Media darling. And would be in a GE.

Policy wise none of the three has much difference, except for me, with Edwards' penchant to bad populist policies.

Edwards political style is the one I favor most.

I think Hillary is treated like crap by the Media and the blogs. Unfairly so.

But personally, I detest no one more than the Obama Cult.

So I admit I really enjoy tweaking them.

Plus, I left Daily Kos in the midst of an Obama war.

They have done more to destroy the efficacy of the blogosphere than any other group.

I fully expect them to walk away from the elections this year if Obama is not the nominee. Not all of them of course, but alot.

    Simply bizarre behavior.

What they don't understand it is, if they want to change things it takes more than one election and  one candidate. it is going to require straight ticket voting up and down the ballot.

Otherwise it will just be more stalemate.

I am an Obama supporter, I had the same ferver when I supported Clark in 04. I maxed out for Clark and will do the same for Obama.

I voted for Kerry in the GE but I bet, the Dems will have the white House had Clark been the nominee or even the VP instead that phony John Edwards.

I was right then and Obama will be vindicated. I am more worried if you will vote for Obama because you trash him at MyDd and everyway you go which to me is a bizzare behavior.

I knew you then and I still respect you but your turn against Obama is a bit over the top and it bothers me because I knew you as a man of great integrity and fairness. Otherwise, I will not even make this comments.
