Good Luck to them!
So I doubt he will. Also, the environmental parts of Obama's program are not the strongest in the bunch. The strongest would probably be Edwards, followed by Clinton, and then Obama. Parent
If he does endorse Obama, I'd hope it comes at the price of Obama renouncing nuclear and coal unambiguously. Parent
McCain got a lot of mileage with similar timing last Saturday. Parent

Anyone care to tell me how to take a screenshot, so I can send it to TL and Colin The Scoop Guy?
That should be a heck of a lot easier than pulling out the psychotropics, tiedowns, and electroshock machinery. Though the computer might find the last of those useful....
but no electroshocking as of yet. But the afternoon is young.
Warning to Hillary non-lovers - do not read this. Unless you're looking for an emetic.
That said, I really like it as an antidote to the Obama-worship. Parent
And I'd like to remind y'all that Kennedy's endorsement yesterday, which took a swipe at Hillary in the process, was considered a typical endorsement. I think this is the better way. At least it seems like the adult way. Parent
so Obama has raised 5 million online since Saturday
The campaign:
is ramping up his media buy in one of the most expensive markets: Los Angeles.
ALSO: An audacious gambit: ads in New York City! (Actually, there are four heavily African-American congressional districts here, lots of young people, and lots of well-educated liberals -- all good Obama demographics.)
as proven by the latest polls that no matter what they throw at Hillary
so the votes don't matter, it is the polls? Parent
I guess this proves that Obama is a codl hearted person ready to use "race card" to destroy everyone.
-highlight the URL of the web-page that you want to link to.
-copy the URL ("edit" then "copy").
-come back to TL and write something in your "Comment:" box.
-highlight the word(s) in that comment that you want to be the link.
-click the "URL" button above the "Comment:" box, it's the button that has an icon that looks like links of a chain. That brings up a link box, and your cursor is automatically in it.
-hold down the "Ctrl" button on your computer's keyboard and then type "v". That copies the url into the link box.
-click "OK."
-click the "Preview" button below the "Comments:" box.
-if the preview looks good - ie., the word(s) you selected to be the link are a different color from the rest of the text - click the "Post" button below the "Comments:" box. Parent
Seriously, I totally get what you are saying. I heard that Obama won't even talk to the press when they are on the same plane. I guess he needs his teleprompter?
But, I am also wondering about Obama's Veep choice. Dare I say it might be a Kennedy? Parent
I was reading a Seattle Times article linked through Raw Story and just started getting four and five popups for all sorts of stuff coming in every time I tried to scroll. To me, anyway, Raw Story is the worst popup offender of the sites I read (second being held by HuffPo), but this was a tsunami of 'em. This was by far the worst ever....
God I am glad it cut off before that other woman spoke - her voice grates. Parent
There's been much discussion on inherent contempt and it's been helpful. From what I understand, this is really geared towards Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten but is it possible to hold Bush & Cheney in contempt of Congress via this alternative? Can they to be jailed for not presenting information?
On another note, is there even a remote chance to bring Bush & Cheney before war crime trials before the Hague after their presidency? That may be a stretch but citizens across the U.S. want accountability if there's no impeachment. What are the alternatives citizens can do to bring accountability on them that is legally binding and doable?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
