Sarah Palin says she's not running for President in 2012.
Let's just hope she means it.

Yesterday she made fun of the Wall Street occupiers in fine Fox fashion.
John King of CNN too....
And too many GOP guests....CNN is going GOP. Parent
And many of them will no doubt be disappointed with the news that 34-year-old Erin Burnett has become engaged. The brunette beauty is set to tie the knot with Citigroup executive David Rubulotta. link

Nah, that couldn't possibly have anything to do with it. :-( Parent
Just sayin'. Parent
From Glenn:
Burnett "reported" that while she "saw dancing, bongo drums, even a clown" at the protest [OWS], the participants "did not know what they want," except that "it seems like people want a messiah leader, just like they did when they anointed Barack Obama." She featured a video clip of herself explaining to one of the protesters that the U.S. Government made money from TARP, and then demanded to know if that changed his negative views of Wall Street. She angered Bill Maher a couple years ago when arguing that the rich have suffered along with the poor and middle class as part of the financial crisis, and that it would be wrong to "soak the rich" because they're already paying so much taxes. She caused Rush Limbaugh to gush over her when she argued on TV in 2007 that all Americans benefit when the rich get richer: "the majority of Americans directly benefit from what happens on Wall Street," she proclaimed, just over a year before the financial collapse. In an interview last year with Vanity Fair, she insisted that people on Wall Street do not have private planes and that "there are a lot of stalwart, solid people on Wall Street. There are just a few shady people providing the fodder for big budget movies"; when asked: "When was the last time you interviewed somebody on Wall Street and said, `Enough of your lies, we deserve the truth goddammit?!'", she would only say in response: "I'd never use the word `goddammit' in an interview." And then there's this two-minute video from her 2009 appearance on Meet the Press, compiled by Progressive Change Campaign Committee, in which she repeatedly heaps patronizing scorn on criticisms of Wall Street while defending its virtue.

If you can stand it, read the whole piece. Burnett, with or without a WS soulmate, is emblematic of the sick symbiosis that exists between the media and WS, and exactly the kind of thing OWS is bringing to the world's attention. Parent
People in general, whether male or female, often find their opinions are influenced by the skin they have in the game. That is why some people make disclosures.
You would have been right if you had stopped at
It's actually not a little bit sexist
She has some sort of Wall Street background, or at least the stupid clip I keep seeing, claims. But then again, it also claims she's goes to great lengths in search of the truth.
And she certainly isn't alone in dismissing OWS.
John Stewart has a great segment last night, from blackout to circus. The proceeded to show how all the reporters tried to blend in 'hacky sack' garb.
He ended with clips from Fox news defending the protesters, then tells us those were actually in regards to the Tea party, then clips with completely opposing views from the same folks over OWS.
Nice to see Fox News defending Obama's positions without them evening realizing it. Wonder what they are going to report once they figure out they are on the same side of the debate. Parent
What she said was... "After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States."
Ms. Palin, the former governor of Alaska, ended her inscrutable cat-and-mouse game with the political establishment on Wednesday by saying that she would not join the field of Republican candidates seeking her party's nomination, but would still work to oust President Obama. "Not being a candidate, you are unshackled and able to be even more active," she said on the Mark Levin show. "I look forward to using all the tools at my disposal to get the right people in there who have a servant's heart."

The media cannot have one story about Herman Cain 9/9/9/ plan. For the middle class there taxes will increased dramatically. He also thinks homosexuality is a choice. You hear no coverage of the candidate that has declared position or policy. But if your not running you get endless coverage. Why is this? The media do not want to talk about the issues. They want to mock, degrade, humiliate, embarrass the republican party. The old repub.party is playing right along with them (seriously Christi is a 1/2 term governor). But the real repub. party is serious about this election. This is why Romney can't get over 25%. They don't like him. Everyone knows it won't be Cain. So why all the coverage. Forget about Perry, Bachmann, and the rest of the group. It will be Huntsman. Huntsman is 2nd in New Hampshire. By the time the election is held he will beat Romney.
She will be a major asset in fund-raising and GOTV inspiration for the GOP nominee, or whoever she may decide to support along the way. Parent
