I know many here don't care for him, but good news from my POV. I've been fond of Clark's positions, and have great respect the mans resume. If he by some miracle gets the nom., I'll work my ass off for him. He'll get my vote in the MO. open primaries, unless the Repubs nominate someone so far right that I feel a vote for the more moderate GOP canidate is a greater priority. I do so love open primaries.

Who are these people who "don't care for him"? I supported Clark in the last go-round because of his resume & his integrity. I gave a lot of money to his campaign & I consider that an investment in the future. The poll is good news. By the way, "These guys all suck" is not what I would call sophisticated political discourse.

I voted for Clark in the primary in'04 and frankly I was puzzled as to why he didn't get more support. His political skills needed some polishing (and maybe '04 was a warmup for him), but I think he scares the crap out of the Bush/Rove junta. I strongly suspect that they were greatly relieved when the dems somehow gravitated to the testicularly deprived Kerry. Of course, the republicans won't hesitate to attempt to "swiftboat" him. But I think, unlike Gore and Kerry, he'll fight back and rub it in their faces that they can't field a candidate with similar military credentials (no, Powell won't run). Here's hopin'

Great leaders are a rare commodity, I don't see any on that list. I've decided I'm voting against every incumbent. Third party all the way for every post possible. Democrats are part of the problem.

yeah probably not. but i just dont think these guys and gals are the kind of people i will be supporting. and i'm no politician so most of my posts will not be political discourse, whatever that is. :)

Oh, but I did like one thing that General Clark said...not necessarily b/c I agree with it but b/c it was funny. When talking about gun control he said "...people who like assault weapons should join the United States Army, we have them."

peacrevol... "...people who like assault weapons should join the United States Army, we have them." LOL..I have often said that gang members should have to do some time.. "You like guns and shooting at people... boy have we got a job for you"....
